NSL actively participates in caring for the community, environment and supports the local arts scene.
Over the years, NSL has donated to many charitable organizations and elevated the lives of the less unfortunate amongst the community. NSL has also sponsored environmental groups and local art scene.
In recognition of its community efforts, NSL won Gold and Silver Corporate Awards from National Council of Social Services. One of NSL’s significant contributions is its support for the Howe Yoon Chong PSA Endowment Fund. NSL Ltd donated S$1million to the fund which objective is to provide scholarships to help Singaporean students from low- income families who are studying at the ITE, polytechnics and tertiary institutions.

NSL staff also gave generously to charitable causes. Since 2007, staff and management of NSL have been supporting Singapore Leprosy Relief Association (Silra) Home.
Each year, during the Chinese New year season, our Staff Recreation Club (SRC) would organise the
Group wide collection of “ang bao” donation from all
staff for Silra Home.
NSL SRC members would personally deliver the contributions that were collected from staff and our Company. They would also spend time interacting with the ex-leprosy patients through food, games and singing.
